Event dates: Oct. 10–11, 17–18, 24–25 and 31, 2026.
Time: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; last entry 4 p.m.
Location: Gulf Breeze Zoo, Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze.

South Walton families looking for a daytime, not-too-scary Halloween outing can head west to Gulf Breeze Zoo. Visit Pensacola describes a Trick-or-Treat Trail with candy and toys, bounce houses, face painting, and keepers roaming with animal ambassadors. A Boo at the Zoo ticket includes admission to the rest of the zoo.

The zoo says members need a $10 event ticket and that it admits no one before 10 a.m. Bring the kids in costume.
