South Walton’s Halloween week includes a dog-focused evening: Barktoberfest, now in its 11th year and run by Dog-Harmony. Pets and their people can enter the costume contest or join the canine-only trick-or-treat. The event is free to attend, and contest sign-up happens through Dog-Harmony.
The organizer’s rule: no prong, choke or shock collars. Visit South Walton also lists the event in its calendar.
