If you’re in South Walton in early November and like ’70s soft rock, this touring show brings the Carpenters catalog to the Mattie Kelly Arts Center. It comes from the creators of The Simon & Garfunkel Story and features a full band performing favorites like “Close to You,” “We’ve Only Just Begun” and “Rainy Days and Mondays,” plus stories about the duo’s career.
Niceville is on the north side of Choctawhatchee Bay, west of South Walton, so allow driving time. Get tickets online through the arts center or by calling (850) 729-6000.
Storm-season reminder: this listing was published October 9, 2026, with Hurricane Isaias in the Gulf. Check the official event page for updates before making plans.
