Winter visitors on 30A can catch the Dolly Parton musical 9 to 5 at Emerald Coast Theatre Company, west of 30A at Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach. Based on the 1980 movie, it follows three secretaries who get even with their sexist boss. The score includes “9 to 5,” “Backwoods Barbie” and “Get Out and Stay Out.”
Midweek matinees make it an easy rainy-day plan. Check ECTC’s site for tickets.
Storm-recovery reminder: we published this on October 12, 2026, after Hurricane Isaias came ashore near Destin. Plans along 30A can shift during recovery, so confirm with the organizer before making the trip.
