If you’re looking to get moving after the big meal, the Merchants of Alys Beach are hosting a Thanksgiving Turkey Burn on Friday morning. Kyle Higginbotham, ZUMA’s head fitness professional, runs a high-energy HIIT circuit that combines bodyweight exercises, strength work and cardio. No equipment is required, but you should bring your own mat.
The same day, Alys Beach also hosts Alys in Winter Wonderland in the amphitheatre, so you can work out in the morning and come back later in the day.
Before you make the drive: we confirmed this listing on Alys Beach’s event calendar on October 23, 2026, fourteen days after Hurricane Isaias came ashore near Destin. Some South Walton amenities are still being repaired, so check with the organizer before you go.
