Thanksgiving weekend brings a storybook afternoon tea to Ovide at Hotel Effie, themed around The Polar Express. Guests get tea sandwiches, seasonal snacks and desserts, plus a hot chocolate bar. Emerald Coast Theatre performs a live “Hot Chocolate” scene for the room.
The hotel is at the west end of South Walton inside Sandestin, so leave extra time from 30A for holiday-weekend traffic on US 98. Hotel Effie lists a contact on its event page for questions.
