October 12, 2026
Date: Sunday, January 10, 2027 (7–9 p.m.)
Venue: Mattie Kelly Arts Center, 100 College Boulevard E, Niceville
This touring musical turns the 1988 movie Mystic Pizza, Julia Roberts’s breakout film, into a jukebox show. Three working-class friends sort out love and family while working at a small-town pizza joint, and the songs are ’80s and ’90s hits like “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.”
From South Walton, Niceville is on the north side of Choctawhatchee Bay. Plan for the drive on a Sunday evening in January. Tickets are on the Mattie Kelly site, or call (850) 729-6000.
Storm-recovery reminder: we published this on October 12, 2026, after Hurricane Isaias came ashore near Destin. Plans along 30A can shift during recovery, so confirm with the organizer before making the trip.
