South Walton Essentials: Groceries, Pharmacies, Urgent Care and the Nearest ER from Santa Rosa Beach to Inlet Beach

Once you’ve unpacked on 30A, the next questions are usually practical. Where’s the closest grocery store? Where can I fill a prescription? Where do we go if someone gets hurt? This guide answers those for South Walton, organized from west to east, and every listing uses the address the business or hospital publishes itself. Hours change, especially after a storm, so call or check the linked page before you go.

Get your bearings first

  • The stretch you’re covering: Visit South Walton describes South Walton as a 26-mile stretch of Gulf beaches running from Miramar Beach on the west to Inlet Beach on the east, about 25 miles south of I-10. US 98 (Emerald Coast Parkway) is the main highway, and many of the beach neighborhoods sit along Scenic Highway 30A.
  • Help in person: South Walton’s Visitor Center is at 25777 US Highway 331 South in Santa Rosa Beach, at the intersection of US 331 and US 98. Visit South Walton says it’s open seven days a week, with maps and staff who can point you in the right direction.
